My professional passion is all about "construction management" and "project management". It is based on my professional career, which has included the following stations:
- DYWIDAG International GmbH
- STRABAG AG
- BAUER special foundation works GmbH
- Codema International GmbH
These are all larger German construction or consulting companies.
During this career, I have managed large-scale projects in Germany and abroad, where I have worked as a construction manager, project manager, tender engineer, cost estimator, work planner or project controller. I was involved in executing large-scale projects over a sum of Eur 200 million and in planning (tendering) large-scale projects over a sum of Eur 2 billion. As a site manager, I was personally responsible for more than 250 employees from all over the world (Indonesia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon).
My experience in international projects was the reason why I started 2009 a PhD-thesis at the Institute of Construction Management at the University of the German Federal Armed Forces Munich about the topic of "Project management of large-scale projects in the pre-contract phase". From February 2017 to October 2021, I taught as a full professor at a University of Applied Sciences the subject "Construction Management" and have always achieved best evaluation results in teaching.
